Leisure time on Tjörn

Bathe, cycle, walk, sail - Tjörn provides a host of opportunities for active leisure time. Wonderful view points combine well with everything from many kilometres of cycle track to Sundsby Säteri park. In the words of Tjörn's clubs and societies, which cover everything from genealogy to skate boarding, active leisure time entails more than just experiencing nature.

The municipal society and club advisor helps both new and established organisations with support and information. A new culture and leisure centre is being established by the municipality during 2010.

Sports are well catered for also and include indoor facilities for ice skating, soccer, basketball, curling and tennis.

There are a number of riding clubs and Tjörn's technical golf course is a challenge for those with a mind.
